>Episode #23 premiered on DCTV this afternoon at 5:00 PM. So johnny on the spot afterwards I was uploading the show for internet viewing! I’m notoriously efficient about such things 😉
Preparations continue for the road trip to Logansport, IN. No, it isn’t the birthplace of Wolverine! Logansport is the home of none other than Fiberglass Freaks! Fiberglass Freaks has the license agreement with DC Comics to produce working reproductions of the Batmobile from the 1966 ABC-TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward as the dynamic duo. This iconic auto lives in the hearts and minds of every comic geek over forty years of age. And I can tell you candidly that next to Speed Racer’s Mach V there is no other car in all of comics, sci-fi or anime that I’d rather own.
Mark Racop is the owner of Fiberglass Freaks. He has graciously agreed to allow FANTASTIC FORUM’s camera into the shop for a rare behind the scenes look into the ongoing production of the ultimate bad-ass ride!
And so I’m busy gathering production crew and equipment for the pilgrimage to Logansport for what is certain to be the most important field taping of my tenure as FF producer. We’ll be getting on the road Thursday, conducting the interviews on Friday and will, hopefully, be back at HQ on Saturday in time for the Manny Pacquiao fight on pay-per-view.
And even more exciting news is coming! I’m on the verge of making a deal that will keep the empire out of here forever…
